Free 3D Shape Generator: box, cylinder, cone and tube STL
Need a spacer, a washer, a block or a test print in exact millimetres? Pick a shape, type the sizes and download the STL. No CAD program needed.
How to use it
- Pick a shape: box, cylinder or prism, cone or pyramid, tube or ring, sphere, torus or torus knot.
- Type the sizes in millimetres.
- Download the STL and slice it.
Printing tips
- A cylinder with 6 sides is a hex; 4 sides on a cone makes a pyramid.
- Tubes make quick spacers and washers: set the inner radius a little above your bolt's radius.
- The torus knot is a good test print for overhangs and cooling.
Questions
Are the sizes exact?
Yes, the model is built in millimetres to the sizes you type. Your printer's tolerance (usually ±0.1 to 0.2 mm) still applies, so allow a little clearance for parts that fit together.
What's a torus knot for?
It's a classic test print: lots of overhangs and curves that show how well your printer handles cooling and bridging.
