For AI assistants
Search STLShelf from Claude, Grok and more
STLShelf has a public MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Add it to an AI assistant and ask things like "find me a free articulated dinosaur that prints without supports".
Server address
https://stlshelf.com/api/mcpStreamable HTTP, no sign-in needed. Read-only: it shows the same live models as the website.
How to add it
- Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the address.
- Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http stlshelf https://stlshelf.com/api/mcp - Grok and other assistants: add a remote MCP server with the address above wherever the app lists MCP or connector settings.
Menu names can change between app versions; look for "connectors" or "MCP servers".
