About this model
This festive mallard has dressed up as Santa for the holidays. He wears a red suit with fluffy white trim, a black belt with a buckle, and a Santa hat with a pom-pom, and he has a to-go coffee cup in his wing to get him through the Christmas rush. He sits flat on his own, with big orange feet out front, so he’s easy to print and sits well on a shelf, desk or mantel. Size: 120 mm tall (about 4.7") × 109 × 88 mm at 100% scale. He scales well, and at about 83% he matches the size of the Pumpkin Mallard if you want a set. How it prints: It’s designed as a 4-color print in red, black, white and yellow PLA. The orange beak and feet and the brown coffee cup are blended from those four colors, so you don’t need extra spools. The 3MF has the colors painted and the slicer settings included. It’s set up for a Snapmaker U1, but it should work on any 4-color printer, like a Bambu AMS or Prusa MMU. The STL is a single-color version you can paint by hand or color in your own slicer. Tips: Low infill (5–15% gyroid) works fine since it’s a decorative piece. Use a prime/wipe tower for clean color changes. Check the slice preview around the coffee cup and the hat pom-pom. Add tree supports if your printer struggles with those overhangs. If your slicer doesn’t support color mixing, print the beak and feet in a real orange filament and the cup in brown.

One piece, no assembly. 4-color print with painted colors in the 3MF. The orange and brown are color-mixed from the 4 base filaments. Use a wipe tower.
