About this model

A mallard drake bursts up through a cracked-open pumpkin, wing tips gripping the jagged rim, with the pumpkin’s curly stem sitting on top of his head like a hat. A fun fall and Halloween piece for a mantel, a desk or a duck lover’s shelf. Multicolour ready: the 3MF comes in 7 separate parts (pumpkin, stem, green head, white neck ring, chestnut breast, yellow bill and black eyes), so each one can get its own filament in Bambu Studio, Orca or Prusa. For a single colour, just print the STL as is. Size: about 80 × 78 × 106 mm as it comes. Scale it up or down to suit; keep “uniform scale” on so it stays in proportion. Printing: it sits on a flat pumpkin base, so it prints upright with no rafts. The only real overhang is the bill. Tree supports touching the build plate only will handle it if your printer struggles at around 45°. All parts are watertight. Printed and tested: see the photos of our print.
